Convenient Education
Convenient Education is a web documentary about the Indian student crisis of 2009-2010, told from the point of view of the students, the education industry and the government. The first-hand experiences of numerous students give direct accounts of the dreams, tragedies, violence and disappointment that were common. Officials from the education industry and the government – including former immigration minister Philip Ruddock – provide insight into the mechanics of the system and their eventual failings.
‘Convenient Education’ can be viewed from Friday 16 November and will be available to view online until at least 2015.
